Apex Health Receives Highest Recognition Status Awarded by the Arab Hospitals Federation

Apex Health, a subsidiary of Estithmar Holding and the fastest-growing healthcare company in the MENA region, has received the Holistic Role Model recognition, the highest designation awarded by the Arab Hospitals Federation.

The recognition was presented by MP Fady Alame to Apex Health Group CEO Joseph Hazel in acknowledgement of the company’s performance at the seventh edition of the Arab Hospitals Federation Gold Initiative.

Apex Health secured 16 recognitions across its network, comprising four Platinum and twelve Gold awards. The awarded entities included Apex Health at the group level, The View Hospital and Military Medical City Hospital in Qatar, as well as Al Imam Al Hassan Al Mujtaba Teaching Hospital and Nasiriyah Teaching Hospital in Iraq.

The achievement placed Apex Health among 45 institutions recognised from 323 applications submitted across ten countries. Every Apex Health institution entered for consideration received an award, reflecting the consistent standards of quality, governance and operational performance maintained across its healthcare network.

The recognitions covered eight dimensions of healthcare excellence, including leadership, governance and continuous improvement; workforce development and wellbeing; quality management and patient safety; patient-centered care and experience; operational excellence and resource optimisation; and digital health and technology innovation.

At the group level, Apex Health received Platinum recognition in Leadership, Governance & Continuous Improvement and Gold recognition in Workforce Development & Wellbeing.

The View Hospital received two Platinum recognitions in Leadership, Governance & Continuous Improvement and Patient-Centred Care & Experience. It also received three Gold recognitions in Quality Management & Patient Safety, Operational Excellence & Resource Optimization, and Digital Health & Technology Innovation.

The submissions were independently evaluated by HIMSS, The Beryl Institute and the World Council for Medical Tourism, bringing together international expertise across digital health, patient experience and medical tourism.

Earning Holistic Role Model status reflects Apex Health’s integrated approach to developing and operating healthcare facilities, supported by consistent standards of governance, quality, patient experience, workforce development and innovation across the markets it serves.
